Lets Look at a Quote

Hello SIJays!

I could tell you that I have had mock exams for a week and give you endless excuses as to why I have not done a post but I don't think making you lovely lot waiting any longer would be productive!

I have full intentions this weekend to upload my first beauty/fashion related post which excites me no end but with the inability to take photo's at the moment I had to come up with a post that involved no personal photography . Okay but this personal photography is worth a mention ... My interpretation of a selfie.

Oh wow, look at those dutch braids, look at those brows and look at that smile. Oh yeah.

Instead of talking my very awesome features in this photo, I decided to do something semi-topical and "analyse" this quote.

Yes, it's massive. Yes, it's kinda depressing. No, I did not find it on tumblr, I found it on twitter. No, I am not going interpret a single word and say it connotes something like I have to do in an English Language exam!

Basically, I saw this on twitter and when I was reading it I just thought how relevant this was to me and how true it was. I spend 95% of the time doing things for a "good future" and this quote/passage made me realize that I need to start living in the moment and doing things that makes me happy right now and not in 15 years! So here's to the new Justine! Living in the moment! Oh jeez ... Wish me luck!

Bonjour, Hola, Hello

Hello fellow bloggers,

I cannot quite believe this is my first blog post! I have wanted to write a blog for such a long time and the day is finally here. I thought it would be appropriate to do an introduction post first so we can be on the same wavelength or altitude, whichever you prefer ...

My name is Justine, I love Harry Potter and I am a cookieholic.

Me looking oh so attractive with butterbeer and orangecircleco T shirt ...

Formalities set aside, I think some more informative information may be more to your interest. I am 16 year old British gal from the North West on England currently studying for my GCSE's and hoping that one day I will be a doctor. It wasn't until last year I realized that apart from school and socializing with my friends and family, I did very little. I am terrible at sport, apart from swimming. I personally think swimming is the one sport everyone will say they do if they don't do anything else to make them sound some what interesting. Unless you actually swim for a living, like Michael Phelps ...

What I could look like if I actually swam ...

What I look like when I swim ...

In the end I settled with joining a church group which got me involved in the community and bought a camera in the summer with the hope to make YouTube videos. That still hasn't surfaced but I decided that instead of making ish quality videos with no good editing system and terrible lighting, I would do what I consider my self to do best, write. I say I am good at writing and I have actually named myself "SmileItsJustine" apposed to the correct "SmileitsJustine" or "smileitsjustine". This mistake came when I was so excited to create my YouTube channel I went capital letter crazy and realized I could not change it ... So I decided there was not point in changing my blog and went with it! I was thinking I could use it to my advantage and call any reader a SIJay if they wanted to be ( If you thought of the Hunger Games, I salute you ) ...Thoughts?

I intend for this blog to go down the fashion and beauty one because I adore the likes of Zoella and Fleur on YouTube and on blogger but defiantly putting my own little twist on it. I started watching beauty and fashion videos around 4 years ago and started to experiment with eye shadow and lip gloss to be like "the big girls" on YouTube. My obsession with beauty products soon grew and I did actually write a blog which contained an inappropriate number of exclamation marks and rookie photography ( not that much will change on here, you don't know how many times I have stopped myself from putting an exclamation mark at the end of every sentence ). So that brings me to today, new blog time! ( That one was completely relevant )

I am so excited to start posting and I have already planned another one to go up in a few days and we can see how it goes from there.

I do hope you stick around for more ramblings!

Apart from the tres attractive photo of me with the butterbeer, the others belong to the brainiest kid on the net, Google.
